PITTSBURGH (WKBN) - The Pittsburgh Pirates claimed right-handed pitcher Jack Little off waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday.
Little has been assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis.
The 27-year-old righthander was designated for assignment by Los Angeles on Aug. 4.
This season, he pitched in a pair of games for the Dodgers. He made his Major League debut on June 19 against the Padres, allowing two runs in 2.0 innings. He also tossed one scoreless inning of relief in his only other outing with the Dodgers on July 5 against the Astros.
Little spent the majority of this season with Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he went 5-4 with 13 saves, a 4.64 ERA, and 39 strikeouts in 36 appearances.
