Embraer was spared from the 50% tariffs proposed by Donald Trump’s administration against all Brazilian import good to the United States. The aircraft and products of the world’s third largest aircraft producer still face a 10% customs tax when sold in the US.

The company is hopeful for a resurgence in sales to US-based regional jet operators. The subsidiary carriers of the “big three” like Skywest and C-17 Globemaster III, already have significant back orders, with deliveries set to return to schedule thanks to tariff relief.
