A little to unpack from this news. Firstly, I guess we can draw a line through Kevin Ginkel’s season. Just four days ago, he was pitching. Now, it seems all but certain he won’t be back until 2026. It’s a brutal end to the year for one of our longest-tenured pitchers (this was his seventh season with the D-backs). He was among the best relievers in baseball in 2023-24, going 17-4 (!) with a 2.86 ERA, in between which he threw 11.2 scoreless innings for the D-backs in their journey to the Worl
