FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Two Republican nominees to Fulton County's Board of Elections must be allowed to join the board, a judge ruled Monday.
It's the latest development in a months-long legal dispute between the Fulton County Republican Party and the Board of Commissioner.
A lawsuit brought by the Fulton GOP alleged that at a May 21 meeting, the commissioners unlawfully failed to confirm to the Board of Elections two Republican nominees: Jason Frazier and Julie Adams.
Adams at the time served on the Board of Elections and drew headlines in the closing days of the 2024 presidential election for litigation questioning the scope of her duty to certify the results.
