Somedays Bakery officially opened its doors in the Bay Terrace Shopping Center on August 1, drawing a crowd of community members eager to sample the bakery’s imaginative croissants and other treats. The opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Cord Meyer Development, the shopping center’s developer, and attended by community members and elected officials alike.

The new space marks Somedays Bakery’s fourth location. Founded in Astoria, Queens by Peter Phillips, the CEO of Chip City Cookies, Somedays Bakery specializes in artisanal croissants and savory snacks inspired by French baking techniques, but delivered with a unique twist.
