LONGVIEW, WASH. (KPTV) - A 51-year-old man is wanted in connection to a stabbing that left one person dead and another critically hurt in Longview on Tuesday afternoon.

At about 12 p.m., on Aug. 5, officers were called to a report of a stabbing on Terumi Lane. When officers arrived at the home, police say they found 64-year-old Dawn Peters of Longview dead.

The second victim, a 73-year-old Longview man, was found with critical injuries and taken by LifeFlight to a local hospital. Police said on Wednesday evening that he was in “more stable” condition and was recovering at a local hospital.

Witnesses said the suspect, later identified by police as Alexander Lee Rogers of Longview, sped away in a car before officers arrived.

A white man about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 190 pounds.
