Last season, while LeBron James and Luka Doncic drew much of the spotlight, young guard Austin Reaves also delivered big for the Los Angeles Lakers. His consistent performances turned heads. Fans began hoping that Reaves would be rewarded with a deal worthy of his growing role on the team.

It now seems that hope is turning into reality. According to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps, one NBA executive strongly believes that Reaves’ next deal is projected to exceed $30M per year.

“ I think he will get $30 [million] plus, one executive told ESPN, echoing multiple front office sources who were asked about the next deal Reaves could command ,” Bontemps wrote.
