SANDY, Utah- Braian Ojeda and Real Salt Lake entered their final Phase 1 Leagues Cup matchup with Querétaro on Wednesday with a far outside chance of advancing to the Quarter Finals, but they needed a lot of goals to do it.
The first half hour came and went between RSL and the Liga MX side with little action, but Braian Ojeda opened the second act with a bang, netting his third goal of the competition.
Braian Ojeda Puts Real Salt Lake On Top
It was the 31st minute and Real Salt Lake had another spell of possesion in ther attacking half.
A cross-field pass came from far side to near, finding Sam Junqua near the end line. Sam pulled it down, and instead of crossing the ball into the box, he dumped it backward to Braian Ojeda who received the pass
