(NewsNation) — Now that quadruple killing suspect Austin Drummond is behind bars in Tennessee, people who played a role in helping authorities arrest him are speaking out.
Drummond was apprehended by U.S. marshals Tuesday after authorities received multiple sightings from people in the area.
Ricardo Contreras was one of those good Samaritans. He made a 911 call to police after one of his workers spotted a person in the woods while they were painting a house in Jackson.
Contreras told "Banfield" his crew was afraid after the sighting, and he had a feeling it was Drummond.
"The day before, they (police) were chasing the guy, and they weren't having any good results," Contreras said. "We decided to move a little bit to see what it was, and it was a man moving in the middle of the woods."
