Brandon Coleman, a second-year guard still establishing himself on the Washington Commanders, does not mind losing in practice. He uses mistakes as a road map. If a defensive tackle bowls him over in training camp, he knows his teammate will explain why it happened. If he takes a false step, an older offensive lineman will correct him. The collaboration makes Coleman excited to come to work, and he does not take it for granted.
“Just wanting to give,” Coleman said. “It’s rare to have that much of that on the team.”
