Win streaks, like seasons, must come to an end at some point.

Both ended for the Ridgefield Raptors on Wednesday night as the Yakima Valley Pippins used a 10th inning bunt to score the winning run and finish the West Coast League season with an 8-7 victory at Yakima County Stadium.

Ridgefield (24-30 overall, 12-15 WCL second half) had its longest win streak of 2025 halted at five games.

The Raptors left two runners on base in their half of the 10th inning.

The Pippins (7-20, 14-40) got their automatic runner to third base when Dillon Anderson bunted toward third base but the Raptors couldn’t make a play on it. Greg Luna then bunted toward first base with runner Brodie Geoghagan sprinting home and the throw to the plate was not in time to get the sliding Geoghagan.
