University of the Pacific in Stockton receives federal grant funding for first

Amid defunding of the Department of Education, nearly $2 million of funding was renewed for the University of the Pacific in Stockton, specifically for first-generation students. Approximately $1.7 million of this funding is helping those who are the first in their families to attend college.
