After a standout college career leading the Villanova Wildcats, Jalen Brunson brought his talents to the NBA . Fans have seen his rise from a solid contributor with the Dallas Mavericks to the undisputed leader of the New York Knicks.

Despite his growth and impact, Brunson still faces skepticism about his classification as a true point guard. Recently, St. John’s Red Storm head coach Rick Pitino claimed that there is no more point guard.

“ There are no point guards anymore. I mean, if you find him, you’ll probably describe him as a guy who can’t shoot ,” Pitino said.
