“This city just has a lot of cones in it,” he said. “When we’re driving or biking around the city, we’d just see clumps of cones everywhere , and one of us will go, ‘Oh look! ConeFest!’” Article content Article content

Hunt then snaps a photo of the black and orange construction pylons and uploads the image to his BlueSky account with a “ConeFest” hashtag.

“Some of the (construction cones), you just see at random,” he continued. “You’ll find cones in fields in the middle of nowhere.

“We’re trying to make a joke out of it.”
