President Donald Trump’s tariffs on imported goods will boost the cost of Dominion Energy’s offshore wind project in Virginia by more than $500 million — with half of that to be passed on to the company’s ratepayers.

The project, with 176 giant wind turbines in the Atlantic, 27 miles off the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, is on schedule to deliver 2,600 megawatts of electricity, enough to power 660,000 residences, next year, Dominion Chairman and CEO Bob Blue told Wall Street analysts in a conference call Friday.
