Stephanie M. Brown and Peter G. Berghan were married July 26 in an orchard setting at Green Acres on Pend Oreille Lake. After a wedding trip to the San Juan Islands, the couple will live in Sandpoint.

PICNIC NOTES 25 YEARS OF MARRIAGE

Some 70 relatives and friends gathered July 6 at Manito Park in Spokane for a surprise picnic to honor Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Strandy on their 25th wedding anniversary. Jim and Marlene Strandy, who grew up in the Northside-Grouse Creek area and attended local schools, now reside in Spokane. Mrs. Bess Reber, Marlene’s mother, lives at Samuels.
