WARREN The 40th annual Warren Italian-American Heritage Festival is set to begin August 7 in Downtown Warren. This year's festival is scheduled to start with a 4:00p.m. ribbon cutting at Courthouse Square and will run through August 10. The four-day event, sponsored by the Warren Italian-American Heritage Festival Committee, celebrates the Italian culture and heritage of the valley.
"We not only hope to preserve the memories and traditions of our families, but also to build a tradition for our young generation," the committee says on their website .
Courthouse Square except for High Street will be blocked off for the festival beginning at 6:00 pm on August 7. All vehicles are advised to be moved by 5:00p.m. August 7 to avoid being towed.
