For the first time, Emma and Sophia Nolan won't be just a car ride apart.
The 2019 Marquette Catholic graduates and twin sisters are heading to different parts of Europe as they prepare for their second season of professional basketball.
"It's going to push us to work hard and compete so next season we have more options to play closer to one another, maybe even on the same team," Sophia Nolan said. "That would be amazing."
After graduating from Loyola last year, the sisters teamed up with an agency to take their basketball careers overseas. Emma signed with the Bad Homburg Falcons, while Sophia joined the Dillingen Diamonds — both teams competing in Germany's 2.Bundesliga.
