Heat index values will be in the triple digits as well for most of Nebraska. Not as hot for the weekend with showers and thunderstorms possible.

Heat advisory for parts of northern and western Nebraska this afternoon and evening. Heat index values as high as 105 possible.

Dense fog advisory until 10 AM CDT for parts of western Nebraska. Visibility could be reduced to less than a quarter mile at times.
