COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WKBN) - Columbiana football is searching for a bounce-back season with a young core after a 3-7 record in 2024.

Columbiana head football coach Bob Spaite is entering his 32nd season at the helm. This fall, he has a roster of just three seniors.

"It puts a little bit more on the coaches. We have to sometimes step in and act like the guys, the cheerleaders, and the juice guys to get them going."

For 2025, Columbiana returns six starters on offense and seven on defense.

"Me and my two seniors, we've got a couple juniors stepping up, too, but we just kind of lead our team, get everybody hyped for practice, get everybody hype, making sure everybody's running all their plays and paying attention to coaches," said se
