YOUNGSTOWN People who still read newspapers in the Mahoning Valley can skip the trip out to the mailbox this morning.

The publisher of the Vindicator and Tribune Chronicle has posted online messages alerting readers that delivery of Thursday morning’s papers will be delayed due to issues at their print site.

Apologizing for the delay, the message goes on to state that newspapers may not be delivered to some areas until Friday.

Online messages posted by the same publisher announced that there will be no Thursday print editions of the Salem News, Morning Journal, and The Review, which serves readers in Columbiana County.

The publisher says news stories are still available on their websites.
