FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The NFL suspended Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison for the first three games of the 2025 NFL season Tuesday, according to multiple reports.
Addison was suspended for violating the NFL's Substances of Abuse Policy , and he will miss Minnesota's first three regular season games, including a Week 2 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Behind top receiver Justin Jefferson, Addison has emerged as one of the league's premier No. 2 options and an ascending young player. He's an explosive receiver who has 28 receptions of at least 20 yards over the last three seasons, and his 19 receiving touchdowns in that time ranks 18th among all players.
Without Addison in the lineup, the Falcons will be able to focus more of their resources on Jefferson.
