Kelly McKerihen stood on the mat, her eyes focused on a target at the other end of the rink, and calmly and confidently delivered her bowl. The ball rolled toward the small round yellow jack, a few dozen metres away, travelling in an elegant arc, as if tracing a parenthesis.
