Sam Thompson has revealed he vowed to stop doing any more reality TV after winning I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The 33-year-old found fame on Made in Chelsea and made a bigger name for himself by appearing in a great deal of reality TV shows, including Celebrity Big Brother, Celebs Go Dating, Celebrity Coach Trip and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. However, after being crowned King of the Jungle on I'm A Celebrity in December 2023, Sam realised his reality TV career had peaked and he'd never be able to top it with another show. Revealing his vow, the TV personality told OK! Magazine's Screen Time team, "I said to myself after I did the jungle, I said 'You've gotta leave it there.' Any sort of reality TV participation, I'd leave there, I think. Because you can't beat that." Addressing his plans for the future, he added, "So now it's just (about finding) a lane that you want to do well into your forties." Since giving up reality TV, Sam's career has gone from strength to strength. He returned to Australia for last year's series of I'm A Celebrity, so he could present the companion show, Unpacked, with Joel Dommett and Kemi Rodgers. Sam also hosts the Staying Relevant podcast with his best friend Pete Wicks, is a regular presenter on This Morning, and hosts his own show on Hits Radio.
