It's been a month now since a lightning strike at the Grand Canyon's North Rim started a fire that would eventually grow into the largest active wildfire in the United States and the seventh-largest fire in Arizona's recorded history.

The Dragon Bravo Fire, mapped on Wednesday morning at 130,520 acres, has roared across most of the containment lines firefighters have tried to throw in its path, and it continues to grow -- though at a reduced rate this week as it advances into more sparsely vegetated terrain. Copy article link
