The severe weather threat is increasing and is now a level 3 out of 5 across the Northern Plains and Midwest Thursday and Friday. Damaging wind gusts in excess of 75 mph and hailstones larger than golf balls look likely with a few tornadoes possible each day. Areas most at risk include Bismarck, Minot, Fargo, Grand Forks, Aberdeen and Sioux Falls.
