MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- More than 100 artists from Wisconsin and across the U.S. will showcase their work Friday and Saturday, Aug. 9 and 10, at the 50th annual Morning Glory Art Fair in Milwaukee.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days on the Plaza at Fiserv Forum. It is free and open to the public.
To get to know one of the artisans that will be participating, Thomas Schlenker joined us Thursday, Aug. 7. The relief wood carver learned his craft in Guatemala, drawing on Spanish, German and Italian influences while using traditional hand tools to shape his work.
