Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison has announced William “Jay” Harbison has joined the firm as a member of its litigation practice.

According to a release, Harbison will counsel clients on business disputes and commercial matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Harrison was a partner at the Nashville law firm Neal & Harwell, where he represented both plaintiffs and defendants and advised clients on cases with an emphasis on First Amendment litigation.
Harbison earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law and went on to clerk for the Judge Gilbert S. Merritt Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He graduated with a degree in English and Theater from Middlebury College.
