WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — UPDATE (8:30 p.m.): City officials say that the right southbound lane of Silas Creek Parkway between Yorkshire and Country Club roads will reclose temporarily on Friday starting at 9 a.m. Work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m.

(5 p.m.): Winston-Salem city leaders say the repair work might not be completed until about 7pm. The cause of the problem is undetermined right now. City leaders say southbound drivers should avoid the area and exit at Robinhood Road. "W e are focused on getting the water main repaired in order to open the entire road back up," said Gale Ketteler, Utilities Public Information Officer.
