BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — You could own a piece of history involving an LSU legend. A basketball uniform worn by "Pistol" Pete Maravich during a movie is available as part of the Lelands Summer Classic Auction.
Maravich, known as an LSU basketball star and NBA Hall of Famer, wore the Army basketball jersey in the 1979 film "Scoring." According to Lelands, Maravich faced off against a fictional female basketball team in the movie as a part of the Army basketball team.
