According to People, in an emotional Instagram post, Brooke revealed that she needed to grieve privately. “As his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honor him the best and most genuine way I knew how… privately,” she explained. Alongside her message, she posted photos with her husband, Steven Oleksy, and their twins, spending the day at the beach—her father’s favorite place.
