Massachusetts food manufacturer Hans Kissle has recalled some of its pasta salad products because they were mislabeled as potato salad and contain undeclared wheat, which may lead to allergic reactions.
Hans Kissle announced the recall, which includes 66 units, on Aug. 5, according to a notice posted on the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s website.
The product in question, Tricolor Twist Pasta Salad, has the correct label on the front, the company said. However, the wrong label was added to the top of the container, making customers think they were buying Red Bliss Potato Salad.
