Originally named the Bluewater Marathon, the Shore to Shore race begins in Oliphant near the Lake Huron shoreline on the Bruce Peninsula and finishes in Wiarton near Colpoy’s Bay. Article content

The 13-kilometre course features rolling hills and a fast downhill finish.

Stieber completed the course in a time of 47:25.9, the quickest of the 140 competitors who entered the race.

Brianna Cavan, also of Owen Sound, was the fastest female with a time of 50:05.9.

Ethan Kruisselbrink (47:35.5) and Jakob Vandorp (50:04.2) rounded out the podium on the men’s side, while Tracy Grieg (54:57.4) and Paige Foxcroft (59:16.7) rounded out the top
