The United States and Russia have agreed on a meeting "in the coming days" between President Trump and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin said Thursday.
Putin's foreign affairs adviser Yuri Ushakov said a place has been chosen and will be announced later and the two sides are working out details but are targeting next week for the session.
The meeting would be their first since Mr. Trump returned to office.
The Kremlin announcement came after Mr. Trump said Wednesday there's a "good chance" he will meet with Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy soon — as Mr. Trump presses Russia to end its three-year invasion of Ukraine .
