HOUSTON (CW39) -- U.S. Senator John Cornyn said Thursday morning that the FBI will help Texas law enforcement in locating Democratic members of the Texas House of Representatives who left the state in protest of the special session calling for a vote on new redistricting maps.

The approval comes after a formal request Cornyn made to FBI Director Kash Patel earlier this week. Read his letter below...
