WILKES-BARRE — Two people charged with hundreds of felony and misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty stemming from an investigation into cockfighting at their Sugarloaf Township residence was resolved with withdrawals of most of the offenses against the pair.
Reynaldo De Jesus Castillo, 63, entered a no contest plea to a felony charge of animals fighting and Annies M. Castillo, 69, did not challenge a summary offense of neglect of animals.
