The media had a chance to observe about 20 minutes of practice on Wednesday and here were some of the more interesting observations.

Unless he gets hurt, Sullivan Absher is very likely going to be the starting right guard for the Irish when they play Miami. Charles Jagusah was going to be the starter at that position but he broke his arm in July while riding in a UTV.
