Things kicked off with opening ceremonies at the Seaforth Curling Club on Thursday, July 31. Events occurring throughout the homecoming included concerts, sports, food, school reunions, historical displays and much more.

Every event was sold out, and Campbell said about 1,700 people attended the Aug. 2 Summerfest downtown, while the Aug. 3 car show had more than 150 vehicles registered, and the parade that afternoon featured 80 floats.
