BREATHITT COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — The search continues Thursday for 10-year-old Jayden Spicer, who was reported missing Wednesday morning from the Panbowl Branch area in Breathitt County.

According to KSP, Wednesday, search teams covered more than 20 square miles using a range of resources—including ATVs, drones, K-9 units, sonar, and helicopters. Crews with the Quicksand and Jackson Fire Departments joined the effort alongside the Breathitt County Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Management, and Kentucky State Police. The last rescue team left the woods shortly after 3:00 a.m. Thursday to prepare for a second day of searching.
