SOCASTEE, S.C. (WBTW) -- For the second time this summer, the Socastee swing bridge will be closed for a day as a crew from the popular Netflix show 'Outer Banks' returns to film in the area.

The bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 14, according to a state Department of Transportation sign at the bridge. South Carolina Film Commissioner Matt Storm confirmed that a crew from the show will be returning to continue filming a stunt scene for the show.

A crew began filming at the bridge on July 29, drawing a large crowd of spectators hoping to catch a glimpse of the show's stars. However, their work was cut short by inclement weather.

Season 5 of Outer Banks is expected to be released next year, although no official date has been announced.
