LEWIS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing juvenile from Lewis County.

Jayla Woofter, born July 14, 2010, has been reported missing.

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department and the West Virginia State Police are actively investigating her disappearance and are seeking any information that could help locate her.

Two photos of Jayla have been released in hopes that someone may recognize her and assist law enforcement in finding her.

Anyone with information regarding Jayla Woofter’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department at 304-269-8251 or the West Virginia State Police – Lewis County Detachment at 304-269-0500.

No other information has been released at this time.
