The Michigan Wolverines bolstered the coaching staff by adding Juan Castillo as an offensive analyst this offseason. With more than four decades of experience in college and the NFL, Castillo brings a wealth of knowledge that should pay dividends for the Wolverines’ offensive line and offense as a whole.

Castillo is a significant asset in particular for offensive line coach Grant Newsome. His primary focus will be working closely alongside Newsome to refine blocking schemes, fundamentals and techniques.

Known for his attention to detail, hands-on coaching style and vocal leadership, Castillo’s ability to break down the nuances of line play should provide the Wolverines with a strategic edge.
