The West Hartford Police Department’s Traffic Division conducted a special enforcement effort on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025.

The West Hartford Police Department detected more than 100 motor vehicle violations during an eight-hour special enforcement effort conducted by the Traffic Division on Wednesday.

Between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., police were stationed at six different locations throughout town for the pre-planned enforcement initiative, Assistant Chief Larry Terra said.

The locations were:

1097 Farmington Avenue

New Britain Avenue at Mayflower Street

Mountain Road at High Farms Road

Mountain Road at Treeborough Drive

2651 Albany Avenue

2900 Albany Avenue
