“The Batman: Part II” starring Robert Pattinson will finally begin filming in the spring of 2026, Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed in a letter to shareholders on Thursday, per Variety .
The sequel is set to be released on Oct. 1, 2027, the company stated. 9
In addition, the shareholder letter revealed that James Gunn is writing the next film in the “Super family” following the success of his “Superman” remake.
“The Batman,” directed by Matt Reeves, came out in March 2022 and grossed over $770 million worldwide.
Pattinson, 39, portrayed the Dark Knight alongside Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone and Andy Serkis as Alfred. 9
