CLAY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- You ask, we answer!

Nothing makes our viewers come off the rails like rough railroad crossings.

Several of you have reached out to us about a bumpy track on Route 31, near Texas Roadhouse in Clay.

"My car is feeling the hurt," one viewer wrote.

While the Town of Clay has no jurisdiction over the track or the road, the supervisor's office said they are aware of the issue and have reported the crossing several times to CSX, the company that operates the railroad.

The YS Team has also reached out to CSX. They told us they are looking into it.

We have had success in recent years getting several bumpy crossings fixed in Central New York, including the notorious Route 290 (Manlius Center Road) in DeWitt and the tracks near Crouse-Hinds in Syracuse/Salina.
