WATERBURY, Vt. (WCAX) - Vermont authorities are investigating a possible connection between a double-murder suspect in Arkansas and the 2023 killing of Honoree Fleming in Castleton.
The story, first reported by Vt. Digger -- and confirmed by WCAX -- involves 28-year-old Andrew James McGann, who allegedly killed a couple last month while they were hiking with their young daughters in Arkansas.
Police say McGann -- who didn’t know the couple -- had bounced between four school districts in three states in recent years.
Vermont State Police reached out to Arkansas authorities to see if he might be connected to the murder two years ago of Honoree Fleming.
