A new historical discovery could challenge history, as archeologists have uncovered a tool that predates humans. ‌

The discovery was made on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, and a tool dating to about 1 million to 1.5 million years ago was unexpectedly found. This suggests that the area was occupied by an unknown human relative long before our species evolved – with the history of human evolution now being thrown into question.
