Kim Taylor-Coleman , a veteran casting director, has been elected president of the board of the Academy Foundation .

The Academy Foundation oversees all educational, preservation, and cultural activities of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , including the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the Academy’s Margaret Herrick Library, the Academy Film Archive, the Academy Collection and the Academy’s talent development programs.

Its board is composed of 12 trustees who are all also members of the Academy’s board of governors.
