(NEXSTAR) — Brandon Blackstock, the talent manager ex-husband of Kelly Clarkson, has died, according to multiple reports. He was 48.
Singer-songwriter Clarkson revealed Wednesday that Blackstock was ill as she postponed the remainder of her Las Vegas residency, Nexstar's NewsNation reported.
“Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas,” Clarkson shared on her social media accounts. “While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them.”
Early Thursday afternoon, PEOPLE reported that Blackstock had died, citing a statement from his representative that he had "bravely battled cancer for more than three years."
