Last night marked the 10 year anniversary of Hamilton's official opening night on Broadway. To celebrate, the production held two special performances. The afternoon performance was for an audience entirely made up of fans who won the $10 lottery. The evening performance was mostly invite only (with a handful of expensive VIP seats that were sold as a fundraiser to benefit the Immigrants We Get the Job Done Coalition, which consists of 14 nonprofits ranging from the Hispanic Federation and the National Immigration Law Center to the Haitian Bridge Alliance and the Tahrih Justice Center).
After the company curtain call, producer Jeffrey Seller took the stage to thank just about everyone who has ever been involved with the show, starting with the current swings, understudies, and standbys. I
